The 4th of July

The 4th of July was the 1st Holiday spent in the new house that we lovingly call "Oregon"n after the Oregon Trail. I blew up the pool and built the grill and we turned on some music, BBQ'd and decorated.  It was a great time. Also Dollar tree for the win.

We had the best Thanksgiving day dinner Now we have decided to sell our house and move to another one after 30 years of being in this 1. My oldest daughter is excited and nervous for the move as am I. It seems as if we (my mom, my kids, my sister, and myself) are all going to live under 1 roof again, to be able to tuck up and save money. I'm not surprised after the direction this whole election took.  This whole move put one more thing on my already full plate. I am months away from graduating SMC with 2 Associate's degrees, and I'm months away from seeing if I got into the schools I applied too. I feel like I'm still on the fence about them (CSULA VS CSULB). To be an eagle or to be a shark. I might decide to be both. CSULA to continue undergrad and then CSULB for grad. As long as I get the funds lined up it shouldn't be a problem. I need to start saving some cash for that big transition.  Anywhere will update when I have more on the house front. We alre...

Beyoncé was amazing! It gave me everything and then some. The little girl born in Tennessee and raised by Southern maternal grandparents by way of Arkansas was really happy. It was the best graduation/homeowner present that I could've asked for.  I'm glad I did it for myself. I never celebrate myself and its time I start.

Knotts Berry Farm Hotel (Breakfast) Review

Soooooooo. Me and my mom had the best time at Knotts Berry Farm celebrating their Boysenberry Festival. We decided to pop by their hotel to eat at their newly reopened kitchen to eat their $25 breakfast buffet (drinks included). #1 the decor is lovely and inviting, #2 the food is flavorful and I was full and satisfied, #3 if your an annual pass member you get a 10% discount off the bill and #4 the breakfast buffet is open from 7am-11am.  10/10 would definitely recommend.
