My Journey

Today was Oldest child Ariah's 1st day of school as a 2nd Grader. I am so proud. 

I finally finished and graduated from SMC. I got my Associates degrees in Business Administration and in Liberal Arts-Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Also graduated with honors and was on the Dean's List forna year. I also got into CSULA for the Fall. I'm so proud of myself

The 4th of July was the 1st Holiday spent in the new house that we lovingly call "Oregon"n after the Oregon Trail. I blew up the pool and built the grill and we turned on some music, BBQ'd and decorated.  It was a great time. Also Dollar tree for the win.

Beyoncé was amazing! It gave me everything and then some. The little girl born in Tennessee and raised by Southern maternal grandparents by way of Arkansas was really happy. It was the best graduation/homeowner present that I could've asked for.  I'm glad I did it for myself. I never celebrate myself and its time I start.

Happy Easter Everyone!  I woke up kind of grumpy this morning because I was stressed out trying to clean the house, get the Easter baskets ready and hide the eggs for the small lil Easter egg hunt at the house but at the end of the day the kids loved it.  My sis took the girls and mom to church this morning while I finished up at home. Ri ran through the eggs like a plundering pirate meanwhile MyMy was just happy to be there.  I am grateful for my family though.
